In regards to representation, it might help to realise that we are not seeking to democratically represent all of Africa regardless to quality. We long-list what we consider to be the best over a year from StoryTime (our weekly online lit mag) only, and then work further with the authors to achieve a final annual anthology. To us the story itself is paramount, and therefore more important than trying to represent the whole of Africa (an impossible task for any publisher in any medium, even if you throw quality to the wind), but that doesn&#039;t make our writers any less African :). Though certainly as time has gone on and readership/submissions to the StoryTime mag has grown, we are publishing writers from more African countries, which will in due course be reflected in the anthologies.]]></description>
